  • RAC – Chapter One

    The Remix Artist Colletcive ( RAC)  have been pleasing the indie and dance music communities since the 2007.  Andre Anjos, Andrew Maury, and Karl Kling celebrate their early successes with this years  release of Chapter One  – a retrospective remix compliation album. Featuring remixes of Temper Trap, Penguin Prison, The Shins  – plus a host of other indie bands –  it is a reminder of how adeptly the trio can shape and swivel a track into it’s most rythmic and joyous form.  Are you ready  for some RAC treatment?

  • Laura Mvula – Sing to the Moon

    Laura Mvula, a 25year old Birmingham retro soul singer with a gospel background, has produced a stunning debut album with Sing the the Moon ( released March 2013) . A mix of dreamy melodies, stomping beats, sleazy trumpet, martial drumming, striking violins and heavenly harp. Reviewers have compared her to Nina Simone,  Billy Holiday &  Janelle Monáe  but we think she  has very much her own voice and proves it with this striking original album.
