Flitting from the melancholic seductive opener ‘Peut-Etre Pas’ (Melainie Pain) to the plinky plonky piano jazz of ‘At the moment’ (Nadeah Miranda), it is a gorgeously endearing album. Each track creates a new mood, overlaid with exemplary vocals. In ‘Fade Out Lines’ the soft rawness of Phoebe Killdeer voice (who was allegedly kicked out of Nouvelle Vague for bad behaviour!) drifts over dripping 70’s Doors – esque instrumentals whilst the dirty urgent beats in “Private Meeting’ are echoed by Shana Halligan’s sultry teasing voice.
